Also, when you apply a wipeout to your drawing, make sure that the polyline you select is 'Erased' by selecting 'Yes' to make invisible. Turn off file sharing windows. It doesn't matter which layer it is on. I set it to the same layer of the object that is applied over the lower object to create the wipeout. Example: a dimension over xref, wipeout is set to the dimensions layer. Revision clouds are geometries used in AutoCAD to drive attention of users to a certain part of the drawing. The revision clouds are Polylines in the shape of connected arcs and they can also be modified like a Polyline. The AutoCAD 2016 version came with completely revamped features of revision cloud. After having had many problems trying to use the Wipeout command in AutoCAD, I have discovered some tips that make it easier. CAD Forum – AutoCAD command WIPEOUT To change visibility of wipeout frame you can also use Frames option from command line after invoking wipeout wieout as shown in image below. You have styles set up with Wipeout objects that have plotted correctly until Civil 3D 2021. Those objects now plot black (and the wipeout is not honored), when using the built-in AutoCAD PDF drivers (DWG to PDF.pc3 and AutoCAD to PDF (various flavors here).pc3 files) Causes: This is a currently known defect in the Civil 3D 2021 software. Notes from Cadalyst Tip Patrol: I used to hate wipeouts — that is, until I learned about the frames settings. Iriver mp3 software download. I would come across 'dead zones' of a drawing where nothing printed; they were wipeouts. When wipeout frames are turned off, you can't manage, edit, or select a wipeout. Once their frames are turned on, you can see them and edit them.

Autocad Wipeout Settings
I am using AutoCAD LT 2009.
Every time we use the wipeout command with text it prints fine when printing to paper. When we try to print to PDF, and print the PDF to paper, the 'wipeout' area turns black and you can't read the text underneath. Basically, print CAD to paper- fine. Print CAD to PDF- looks fine on the screen. Print that PDF to paper- wipeouts turn black.
This has happened to several drawings, and several other people when printing our PDF files.
Any suggestions? Does this sound like a CAD problem or a PDF problem (layers?)
